I can finally say I have been to New York City!  This was a last minute day trip I am so excited we went on.  The Brother and I have never been, so we were eager to see the city.  Even though Time Square was horrible (I have no intention of ever going back), the rest of the city was beautiful.  Walking through Central Park and past all the different shops was so fun and I am so glad that we were able to make the trip.

We didn't have a set itinerary and ended up wandering around and stumbling upon landmarks like Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall.  We took a cab to the Freedom Tower, which was absolutely breathtaking.  (We didn't go up to the top, but I don't plan on going anytime soon; it was so high off the ground.)

Paitin (from Love from the Sunshine State) and I are already planning a trip back to New York, only this time we are actually going to plan, and not just take a trip and wander.  I can't wait to show her the city!

I love, love, love to read.  I always have and I always will.  I was looking through GoodReads and my Amazon recommended book list and I realized just how many books I wanted to read this summer.  So I decided to make a list of the top books I wanted to read this summer.  It was so hard to narrow down, but these are the ones that really caught my eye!

This past week, the Sister (from Love from the Sunshine State) and I drove up to spend the day in beautiful Palm Beach!  We started with visiting The Breakers Hotel, and then shopped down Worth Avenue.  We ate a picnic lunch at the beach, and then visited City Place for ice cream and more shopping.  It was a short trip, but we are definitely making plans to come back! We are dying to explore the Breakers more, and visit the Flagler Museum and some local churches.

I bought this dress last year and have been waiting for the perfect occasion to wear it; and what better occasion to wear it than a trip to Palm Beach!  I linked the dress, but the patterns on Lilly are updated, so this cute chevron pattern sadly isn't available anymore, but the patterns available now are super cute!

This weekend the Sister and I visited Wynwood Walls in Miami, or at least we tried. The actual Wynwood Walls was closed for a wedding (the Kardashians were there!) so we weren't able to go in, so instead we walked around the district and took pictures next to random walls.  In fact, every wall in the district was covered in beautiful graffiti, which made beautiful backdrops for all these fun pictures!

This past weekend, the Sister (visit her blog here) and I had the opportunity to go to Disney together for the second time this year, so of course we jumped on any chance to spend time together at Disney! We had such a fun time riding all of our favorite rides and taking cute pictures in front of the castle.  We can't wait to go back! (Although next time we go, we are buying these ears to match our Lilly shorts!)
